Military Heritage Plaza
at Tillman Hall

Marching across
Bowman Field

As we enter the Plaza
we meet a cadet
rushing off to class.

As we gather we are  briefed
on the Clemson ROTC program
as it is today.

Joe Bowen led in a memorial
to the Clemson Men who made the
 supreme sacrifice for our country.

It concluded with a poem
he had written during a visit
to the military cemeteries
in Normandy.
