Hazel Haley
November 5, 1916 - April 7, 2008
Hazel Haley, the Lakeland High School English teacher who was thought to have
been the longest-serving teacher in the country, died at her home Monday, April
7, 2008, at the age of 91 years,
friends and colleagues said.

On Tuesday, September 7, 2004, William S. Lawrence died at the age of 89, less
than a month from his 90th birthday.
A memorial service was held at
College Heights United Methodist Church on October 2, 2004.
